Uchida-san has more than 30 years experience in the telecoms field in Japan (wired and wireless). He has been mainly selling to the Japanese telecom operators and NEMs (Network Equipment Manufacturers). He has handled many test and measurement products and related software and system solutions along with services for implementation, customization, training and support. Shinji’s strong customer relationships developed through a deep understanding of their needs along with his team leadership skills make him a natural go-to person for the Japanese telecoms market.

After gaining experience in Japan through account management in the areas of technology selling and product marketing for companies such as Broadcom Corporation, Manjul gained further valuable experience by starting his own trading and consulting company in India
Manjul joined the HLS Global Tokyo office in January 2015, and established the Global Advisory Services division. In his capacity as India Director, he is focused on driving business growth for HLS’s India practice.

Akira Ogushi worked for many decades in the automotive business. He spent most of his time in Europe, serving as President of Nissan in France and focused for several years on developing the alliance between Nissan and Renault. Besides his mother tongue of Japanese, Akira is also fluent in French, Italian and English. After his time in the automotive manufacturing business, Akira worked with Japanese suppliers of modems for M2M applications, heat pump water heaters and refrigeration equipment, heading up overseas sales and business development efforts.

Naoya Koga has been working with lasers and laser processing technologies for over 20 years.  He spearheaded the development of business in Japan for Rofin (now COHERENT) in the 1990s before moving to Cyber Laser a Japanese company who developed the first industrial femtosecond laser.  In October 2010 Koga-san started his own business focused on providing solutions to Japanese manufacturers . . .

Naoya Koga has been working with lasers and laser processing technologies for over 20 years.  He spearheaded the development of business in Japan for Rofin (now COHERENT) in the 1990s before moving to Cyber Laser a Japanese company who developed the first industrial femtosecond laser.  In October 2010 Koga-san started his own business focused on providing solutions to Japanese manufacturers looking for innovative laser technology for use in a wide array of applications from large-scale cutting to microfabrication.    Koga-san’s end-customers include manufacturers of medical equipment, semiconductors, precision machinery and MEMS. He has worked with many different types of materials such as ordinary metals, rare metals (iridium, tungsten etc), Engineering Plastics, ceramic materials (SiC/SiN), synthetic diamonds and recently CFRP (Carbon Fiber Reinforced Plastic).
